DIGI4AGE is a European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) coordinated by Boğaziçi University with eight consortium partners, supported by global health companies such as Siemens Healthineers, Omron and Novartis, and funded under the European Commission's Digital Europe Programme. We raise the digital maturity of SMEs working in healthy living, active ageing and smart living environments, let them test their products in real clinical settings, and connect them with the right investors and corporate partners. Our principle is "Test Before Invest": ventures proven in the field before investment. The project runs for 36 months, has a €1.8 million budget and carries the European Commission's STEP Seal.
WHAT IS TEST BEFORE INVEST?
Test Before Invest is DIGI4AGE's core principle: an SME tests its product in real health settings before sitting down with an investor or a corporate partner. Investor risk drops, and the venture emerges with a field-validated, market-ready product.
A Digital Maturity Assessment establishes the starting level.

THE DIGI4AGE PROCESS
From the moment an SME joins DIGI4AGE, it moves through these five stages, raising its digital maturity and becoming investment-ready.

THE DIGI4AGE HEALTH PLATFORM
Data from SME solutions, wearables and mobile applications is gathered, processed and passed on to the systems health professionals actually use. SMEs can connect their products to this infrastructure and work with real data.
