As a public university that has maintained its tradition of education and research since 1863, we have made it our principle to transform our scientific knowledge into social benefit. With our specialized units such as the Center for Life Sciences and Technologies (Boğaziçi LifeSci), the Center for Targeted Therapy Technologies (BU-CT3), and the Joint Excellence Center for Digital Innovation (JEDI), we conduct interdisciplinary studies in the fields of health and technology. By combining our deep-rooted academic heritage with innovative research, we host national and international projects that contribute to the development of health technologies.
As the coordinator institution of the DIGI4AGE project, we are responsible for ensuring that the entire consortium works in harmony and for the overall management of the project. While establishing the physical and administrative structure of the innovation center (Hub) to be established within the scope of the project, we are drawing the academic framework of the training curricula needed by SMEs. We undertake a strategic guidance role in order to spread the vision of digitalization in health, manage communication between stakeholders, and ensure the sustainability of the project.
