As a public university that has maintained its tradition of education and research since 1863, we have made it our principle to transform our scientific knowledge into social benefit. With our specialized units such as the Center for Life Sciences and Technologies (Boğaziçi LifeSci), the Center for Targeted Therapy Technologies (BU-CT3), and the Joint Excellence Center for Digital Innovation (JEDI), we conduct interdisciplinary studies in the fields of health and technology. By combining our deep-rooted academic heritage with innovative research, we host national and international projects that contribute to the development of health technologies.
Founded in 1997, we have been providing services in data center solutions, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity for over a quarter of a century. Through our R&D center, we go beyond just providing hardware by developing AI, high-performance computing (HPC), and sustainable 'green' data center projects. With our domestic AI engine 'TurkDeep' and our eco-friendly 'Eco Qube' projects, we aim to bring technology together with efficiency and security.
Our cluster, established through the collaboration of Istanbul Chamber of Commerce and Bogazici University, brings together university, industry, and public stakeholders in the health industry under one roof. With more than 250 members, we aim to enhance the competitiveness of companies operating in medical devices and biotechnology. Through structures like the Biocube Incubation Center, we provide laboratory and office support to entrepreneurs while laying the groundwork for the collaborations the sector needs.
As the representative of the Ministry of Health in Istanbul, we are the public authority responsible for planning, executing, and supervising all health services in our province. We manage a broad network ranging from primary care health centers to large teaching and research hospitals. Our fundamental goal is to protect public health and continuously improve the quality of healthcare services to provide the best service to our citizens.
Established by the Turkish Employers' Association of Metal Industries (MESS), our center is a technology hub guiding the digital and green transformation of industry. As part of the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) network, we offer our competencies in AI and manufacturing technologies to companies. With one of the world's most comprehensive digital transformation curricula, we measure companies' technological maturity and create roadmaps for them.
Established through the partnership of the Presidency of Defense Industries and Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, our technopark operates as Turkey's deep-tech hub. With modern offices, laboratories, and our incubation center (Cube Incubation) that we offer to R&D companies, we are at the heart of the innovation ecosystem. We host the growth and commercialization of entrepreneurs in many strategic areas, from defense industry to healthcare.
Our center, which emerged within Bogazici LifeSci and was authorized as a national research infrastructure under Law No. 6550, focuses on biomaterials, medical devices, and targeted therapy technologies. With our cleanroom, pilot production facilities, and test-analysis infrastructure, we support researchers and entrepreneurs in the process of transforming laboratory knowledge into products.
As an R&D company based at METU Technopark, we have been developing solutions in remote patient monitoring, wearable sensors, and telemedicine platforms since 2012. With our large-scale integration experience gained from the Ministry of Health's national Telemedicine and Teleradiology projects, we believe that technology should facilitate access to healthcare services. With our 'PingBit' product family, we develop technologies that touch human lives in areas such as elderly care and chronic disease monitoring.
